The Mathematics Department hosted the annual Huanui College Whānau Mathex competition on Wednesday. Our Year 7 – 10 students (plus our teachers) get the opportunity to exercise their legs and their minds in this competitive inter-whānau competition with our Year 11 students adjudicating the event.
The whānau points for 2022 are the closest ever!
Places for Mathex are:
1st Blake- 760 pts
2nd Ngāpua – 740 pts
3rd Hillary – 685 pts
4th Sheppard – 625 pts
We will have teams competing at the Northland Mathex comp on Thursday 1 September.
