Due to the location of the College and in the interest of student safety, walking to and from school is strongly discouraged. Students may only do so if the College has received written permission from a parent or caregiver. This helps ensure we are aware of each student’s travel arrangements and can provide appropriate support if needed.
Huanui College provides three buses to get our students to and from school. The details of how to catch these buses, pricing and routes are below. Contact reception for all bus enquiries.
Student IDs will act as bus passes. Students will need their student IDs to swipe onto the bus in the mornings, and in the afternoons students will need to swipe their IDs to get onto the bus and also swipe their IDs on exiting the bus.

Term Pass: $750
Single Trips: $10 per trip
Replacement Student ID cards: $15
Flexible Bus Options: Students can catch whichever bus they need. The cost remains the same for all routes.

Unfortunately, we do not currently run a Huanui College bus from Tutukaka. However, there are some transport options available.
