Fifteen teams (60 students) competed in the annual Mathex competition, this year held at Whangārei Boys’ High on Thursday (12th August) night. This challenged our students both strategically and mathematically. Congratulations to Annabel McIlhinney achieved a bronze medal for the aerobic gymnastics nationals competition. Aerobics Athletes needed to get a qualifying score to enter. Congratulations to all of our Runners who competed at the NSSSA Cross Country Race for Years 7-13 at Barge Showgrounds last week. Congratulations to Takaimaania, who placed 1st at the Table Tennis competition held at McKay Stadium on the 24th of June. Well done for your hard work and dedication to your sport. Takaimaania has previously won under-18 and under-21 and women’s national titles, and is ranked sixth in the country.
