Huanui College production of The Little Mermaid

In August 2017 Huanui College presented their critically acclaimed production of The Little Mermaid, performed at Whangarei's Capitaine Bougainville Theatre.

"What a fabulous success The Little Mermaid production was, we have had so much positive feedback from audiences. Our team of actors, musicians, and stage crew have been commended by Forum North and all the parents backstage who witnessed a very committed bunch of students that knew what they had to do to put on a great show.  The skills these students have gained will stay with them for ever. I have had a pride lump in my throat every day since last week. A huge thank you has to go to Cathy Senescall, Rebecca-Amy Muir and Angela McGregor without whom the show would not have been the success it was.  A total of 75 students were involved in some way with The Little Mermaid production and were officially recognised at the assembly on Wednesday. Thank you again." - Mrs. Debi Walters-Brown
