We would like to express how grateful we are to everyone who was involved and supported the College production of The Wizard of Oz.
Congratulations to everyone involved in our production of the Wizard of Oz. After hours of hard work, we finally pulled it together to delight hundreds of audience members over Matariki weekend!
The torrential rain could not dampen our spirits as students from Year 7 to Year 13, along side 16 members of staff took part in the show. Held in our gym, transformed temporarily into a magical Land of Oz with a forest of plants from Botanica and gorgeous works by our Art department. Toto (Tiger) the dog stole the show, ably supported by dancing trees and crows, who found time to rehearse on top of full teaching commitments.
Well done to the students who committed, learned their lines and put on an amazing show with a huge thank you to Mrs Hunt for instigating the whole affair, and all other staff who played major roles in getting us to Oz!
