The Northland Regional Debating competition was held last Sunday, and Huanui College had two teams compete: Carolyn Betterton, Josh Callan, and Nick Merry; and Giverny, Caitlin Wilson and Lucy Murray.
Our Junior team represented us extremely well, and our Seniors likewise did well, with Giverny being selected for the regional team, and Caitlin being awarded highly commended speaker.
Congratulations to each team for an outstanding effort, and special congratulations for Giverny and Caitlin for their individual achievements.
