Another smooth and enjoyable Athletics day! Evident was the support and encouragement all of our competitors, with people acknowledging each other’s efforts; praising their accomplishments and their performances. An integral part of Huanui life is showing that we care for those around us, and that we respect ourselves others.
Students have shown their growth mind sets, with a massive turnout of entries in both competitive and fun events. A great turn out to the events that were entered, and while students were not competing, there was excellent sportmanship and cheering from the stands. The colours stood out supremely well, with the whānau chanting echoing through the valley – giving walkers up Parihaka a beat to take pace to.
