Some great news about Asha Huddleston and her incredible dance achievements:

Asha got her dance exam results back - Distinction in Ballet and Jazz. The highest level plus achieving 100% excellence in some criteria. Top in both classes.

Even more of an achievement this year as preparation was disrupted! BTDA (British Theatre Dance Assn) is internationally recognised. Normally an examiner comes from Britain, but, this year, adapted to online practicals! Asha is now at Vocational level for Jazz, meaning they also submit a body of written work and are interviewed as part of the exam.

Well done Asha - what a marvellous show of grit and determination.

2020 Inaugural Inter-Whānau Singing Competition

Our first ever inter-whānau singing competition! Congratulations to all of our students and staff for their sustained effort over the term - what a great afternoon seeing everyone performing. With the singing, chanting and cheering, the festive mood was strong, and whanāu spirit raging. Great to see full involvement, and always a pleasure to welcome families in to enjoy the performance with.
